Can you imagine what it would be like to speak to God face to face?  To walk with him all your days?  To truly trust in Him completely?  That is what it looks like when you build an intimate relationship with God.  Intimacy involves talking and deeply listening.  Intimacy also involves trust.  Intimacy with God involves more than just believing in God, but understanding that God has great plans for you even though he may lead your life down a path that is uncomfortable and scary, because it is all for His glory.  And to get to that level it takes time. When you invest your time in a relationship with God he invests His time in you.  “Come near to God and he will come near to you….” (James 4:8 NIV)
